Job Title: Customs Supervisor Overview of Role/Organisation 

Our Client specialises in the Aerospace and pharmaceutical industries and operates in eight key areas across the country including Skyline, a central hub located in London Heathrow. The UK branch manages some of the world’s biggest retailers and can provide value-added services including inventory management, re-packing, labelling and order preparation. 
 
£40k-£70k basic + 12% annual bonus, 25 days holiday

Key Areas of Responsibility 

To direct, manage, and maintain overall customs compliance procedures to ensure that companies operate in conformity with various rules and regulations. 
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations  
Responsible for assisting other branches on any customs queries and issues. 
Part of the ONE TMS / Cargowise implementation and testing team 
Manage staff under direct control 
Assist with any customs requirements for company wide. 
To co-ordinate any special projections such as customs warehousing and CFSP. 
To ensure support to all UK company branches. 
Attend management meetings when required. 
Overall administration for department and ingoing systems training supervision. 
Ensure compliance of staff’s KPIs under your management and measure accordingly. 
Regular appraisals of Custom’s department employees. 
Ensure customs entries are completed with minimal errors. 
Complete and monitor all UK reclaims. 
Assist clients to remain in compliance with customs laws. 
To resolve all stops and detains. 
Oversee all clearances for road freight movements

Industry related experience and proven Supervisory skills 
High level of customs knowledge 
Profficient in Mocrosoft Word & Excel 
Experience in using Port CSP Software 
Strong Customs Tariff experience and knowledge.
